Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 18, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SAY ("SAY", "we", "us") — our website, mobile application, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. What SAY Is
SAY is an AI communication assistant. You give it something you have — a spoken thought, typed text, a screenshot, a document, a voice note — and it helps you turn that into communication you're comfortable sending, refining it conversationally over time. SAY produces suggested wording; you decide what to actually send, to whom, and when.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use SAY. By using the Service, you confirm you meet this requirement. The app creates a lightweight account for you automatically on first launch so you can start using it right away; if you later choose to add an email and password from the Profile screen, you confirm that information is accurate.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your Content
"Your Content" means anything you provide to SAY — text, voice, screenshots, images, documents, and the conversations you upload for context. You keep ownership of Your Content. By submitting it, you grant SAY a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service to you (understanding your situation and generating responses) — we don't use Your Content to train models on behalf of, or share it with, other users.
You're responsible for what you share. Don't upload content you don't have the right to share, or that violates someone else's privacy or rights — including screenshots of conversations with other people. SAY is a tool to help you communicate; how you use its output, and with whom, is your decision and your responsibility.
Do not use SAY to generate content intended to harass, deceive, defraud, or impersonate someone without their knowledge, or for any purpose that's illegal where you live.
4. AI-Generated Output
SAY's suggestions are generated by AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not fit a given situation — you should always review a draft before sending it. SAY is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or mental-health advice, and nothing it produces should be treated as such.
5. Third-Party Services
SAY uses third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI) to understand what you share and generate responses. Their own terms and privacy practices apply to how they process data on our behalf — see our Privacy Policy for details on what's sent and what's retained.
6. Termination
You can stop using SAY and request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how). We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms or uses the Service in a way that risks harm to SAY, other users, or third parties.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its output will meet your expectations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SAY isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including consequences of sending AI-generated content you chose to send.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
